Very good presentation…be sure to view the whole article…
Here is a link that we recommend to all of you: http://www.storyofstuff.com/
It can connect you to the video that we saw last week at the presentation by Sarah Sheeran, organized by the Environment Committee.
It is a simple but insightful summary of the production-consumption-waste process that we are all involved in; I believe it is really very worthwhile viewing. It is 20 minutes long.

WASHINGTON – Just in time for the holidays, some medical advice most people will like: Take a nap. Interrupting sleep seriously disrupts memory-making, compelling new research suggests. The main objective of World Turtle Day, May 23, sponsored yearly since 2000 by American Tortoise Rescue, is to bring attention to, and increase knowledge of and respect for, turtles and tortoises, and encourage human action to help them survive and thrive.
The populations of turtles are falling mainly due to the international pet trade.
Actions to reverse the tide.
1. Don’t buy or eat turtle eggs;
2. Don’t buy souvenirs made from turtle parts;
3. Support your local turtle rescue programme;
4. Adopt a turtle;
5. Learn more abour turtles and voice out your concerns;
6. Report illegal trade to enforcement authorities.
America may have been crowned Kris Allen as the 8th American Idol, but the rest of the world would annointed Adam Lambert as the undisputed Prince of Rock.
Adam’s loss may be a blessing in disguise, it will be a beginning of what promises to be a celebrated career.
Wonder whether Simon Cowell will really be managing Lambert’s career.
Looking forward to chart Adam path.
