Environmental Wellness

Our environment vis-à-vis home, work and living surroundings affect our daily health and long term wellness directly and indirectly. Not withstanding how you define "environment" maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment can be beneficial for you, your family, and your health!

And it's EVERYONE BASIC RESPONSIBILITY to maintain a Healthy Environment.

An excellent example on environmental responsibility is "The Make Cars Green Campaign", initiated by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) aimed at reducing the impact of motoring on our planet. This campaign was launched on World Environment Day on 5 June 2008.

Healthy Effects of Green Office

Research from around the world call for greening the working environment:

  • Office plants improve air quality;

  • Stress levels reduced when pot plants were present;

  • Plants give a soothing effect on boring work activities;

  • Blooming plants help to lower blood pressure; and

  • Creating greener spaces indoors means healthier and more productive workplaces and improved customer environments, thus improving the well-being for all.
